Slow week at the Lewis home.
Ella gave her baby a bath last Wednesday. She is very good mommy.
I forgot that this baby's eyes look creepy in pictures. They are actually very pretty in real life.
We have been having a very mild winter here in Iowa.  It was 60 degrees on Friday, so Ella, Lily and I took off our winter coats, put on our flip flops and went to the elementary school in our neighborhood to play on the playground. We started out on the little kid playground, but then Ella wanted to go play on the big kid equipment with the big kids. I told her it was really big, but she didn't care. She climbed all the way up to the top of the slide, sat down, looked down the slide and decided it was too high and she told me she was going to go back down the stairs.
But it was too late, she slipped down the very high, steep slide before she could turn around. She was not happy about this, but I made her take a picture anyway.
She was happy to play on the little kid equipment after that.

Friday night we celebrated Eric and Hallie's engagement at Blackstones. Aren't they cute?
We had a relaxing weekend. Saturday Liliana was all smiles in her swing.
Sunday we had a slumber party.
Liliana hopes you have a wonderful week!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

So I've come to find that life with two small children keeps you very, very busy, who knew! This explains the 3 month hiatus. But not to worry, I did manage to squeeze in some time to take a few pictures over the last few months, and I will work on adding those later. For now I will start with this past week before I get any farther behind in updates! :)

Liliana loves bath time! She has recently discovered how to splash in the tub. It just might be time to move her whale tub from the kitchen sink to the bath tub.
We made most of our Christmas cookies after Christmas this year.  Ella helped by rolling the balls of cookie dough in sugar. Much of the dough got squished in the process, but they still managed to look and taste delicious.
Grandma Donnie bought everybody matching aprons this year, I think Ella and I are the only ones who had their pictures taken in them. Maybe next year we'll have our act together and we will get a picture of the whole cookie making crew.
On New Years Eve day we had Christmas with the Oses. We got to meet Richard, Sam and Nichole's son for the first time. He's a cutie!
Richard and Liliana hung out on the floor together.

Uncle Jerry and Liliana snuggled in for a nap on the couch after lunch.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! The girls both managed to stay up to watch the ball drop in New York, 11pm our time. Liliana and Chris then took a short nap and Ella and I woke them up a few minutes before midnight to watch the ball drop again on a different channel. A few Thanksgivings ago I discovered that the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade was shown with an hour time delay in Iowa, so now I'm wondering why the parade is delayed, but not the ball drop? This seems backwards to me, I would show the parade in real time, and delay the ball drop, but they obviously didn't ask me. ;)
New Year's Day we had Christmas with Chris' family. Ella got cars and she had fun sharing them with her cousins Connor and Kylie.
Back to reality this week. Chris went back to work Tuesday and Ella's activities started back up on Wednesday. Liliana is happy to tag along in her car seat.
One Weekly 'Wednesday' Update down, 51 to go in 2012! :)
